Cozy Gamers

Welcome back, cozy friends! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to sit down and write one of these, for that I want to apologize. Life has been so busy lately, but I check this site every so often and see that it still gets traffic so I don’t want to give up on it. If you’ve been checking in for new posts, found the blog by accident, or are completely new here I want to say thank you so much for taking the time to look around this little blog of mine. It’s focused around the Cozy Gamers group on Facebook and supposed to be a place to yap about what goes on in there, but I’m looking into expanding the content thats posted here so hopefully we can get some fun ideas implemented in the coming months.

🎉 Big Group Milestone

We have a few exciting things I’d like to share in this section for the month of November.
Firstly, we as a group have 670,000 members as of writing this post, that’s such an insane number! Whenever I first started this group I never could have imagined it would ever pass 30 members. I’m not sure what happened, but as soon as the group hit 1,000 members it just skyrocketed. Its been an amazing few years with the group and brought us some fun opportunities that I want to share here.

Kioku: The Last Summer is an adorable little indie game being made by a small team of creators from Norway. They reached out to me a while ago about featuring our groups cat mascot, Sprout, in their game. They’ve shared some updates on the cats figure, talked about how it may be interact-able in the game, and shared that there may be some special achievements attached to it as a nod to the Cozy Gamers group. This has been so exciting to watch unfold over the months and I’m hopeful their kickstarter gets funded so we can interact with Sprout in the game. They’re currently planning to release their game on Steam and Nintendo Switch, so check it out if you’d like to help support small teams and bring Sprout (and of course the game itself) to life!

Cat Secretary is a fun little game being created by a small team of artists. This game has an adorable cat that gets to work at an office and try to figure out a mystery. Full of funny posters inspired by real life games, fun game mechanics, and an interesting story, this game looks like it’s perfect for Cozy Gamers. They’ve been so kind as partner with us for a Steam Deck and Steam gift card giveaway. This will be going live on Monday, November 24th so keep an eye out. We have a special code that’s being shared in our group to help give our members an even better chance of winning that Steam Deck!

Master Lemon The Quest For Iceland

Master Lemon The Quest for Iceland is a beautiful narrative story that is inspired by true events. I had the honor of playing this game before release and can honestly admit it’s one of my favorite games I’ve finished. The gameplay time is around 10 hours to complete and will leave you feeling all sorts of emotions. The story line is great, the world is beautiful, and it’s unlike anything I’ve played before. 10/10

Log Away

Log Away is a fun little building game where you get to build and customize your very own log cabin. They’ve added in some fun game elements that aren’t in anything else I’ve ever played like a coziness meter that goes up or down depending on your decorations. This seems like such a relaxing game to curl up and play over the winter time, which is perfect because that’s when it releases!

The Abbess Garden

The Abbess Garden has a beautiful artwork style that fits it’s historical time period perfectly. In this game, you will be able to grow plants and use a cute little book as a guide for whats best and when. This game has such a peaceful look to it and I’m excited for the full release to come out someday.

Play as Agnes, a young peasant who is tasked to grow plants, find and identify new ones, and decorate the garden. Help uncover a spy plot, assist others in the local community, and find a lover.
